Location: Heathrow Area, London Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Temporary Hourly Rate: £15 - £17 per hour (dependent on experience) Permanent Salary: £36,000 per annum (following successful temporary period)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Resident Liaison Officer to join our team working on a key infrastructure project in the vicinity of Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to start on a temporary basis with a clear pathway to a permanent role, where you will be the crucial link between the project and the local community.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Being the primary point of contact for residents affected by the infrastructure works, addressing their queries, concerns, and providing timely updates.
- Establishing and maintaining strong, positive relationships with residents, community groups, and local stakeholders.
- Effectively communicating complex project information in a clear, concise, and accessible manner through various channels (e.g., face-to-face meetings, newsletters, drop-in sessions, phone calls, emails).
- Organising and facilitating resident engagement activities, such as community meetings, information sessions, and site visits.
- Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues and concerns raised by residents, escalating complex matters appropriately.
- Maintaining accurate records of all resident interactions, enquiries, and resolutions.
- Working closely with the project team, including site managers, engineers, and communication specialists, to ensure a coordinated approach to resident engagement.
- Monitoring and reporting on resident feedback to the project team to inform decision-making and mitigate potential impacts.
- Assisting with the development and distribution of project information materials.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant stakeholder engagement plans and procedures.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience as a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) or in community engagement/public relations is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse communities.
- Strong empathy and the ability to understand and address resident concerns sensitively and professionally.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A valid UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle may be required due to the location and potential need for travel within the Heathrow area.
- Temp-to-Perm Pathway: Secure a permanent position with a reputable organisation following a successful temporary period.
- Competitive Hourly Rate: Earn £15 - £17 per hour while on the temporary contract.
- Permanent Salary: Enjoy a salary of £36,000 per annum upon successful transition to a permanent role.
