Job Description:
Procurement Head’s Industrial team supports a globally recognised B2B manufacturer and distributor of consumables and machinery for warehousing and logistics environments.
This role offers hybrid working (3 days in West Northamptonshire), a salary up to £40,000, bonuses, and international travel opportunities.
The successful candidate will join the retail Category Management team to manage a complex, high-volume product portfolio, including developing processes, stakeholder engagement, and driving commercial outcomes across various product types.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, responsibilities include strategic planning, market analysis, NPD, pricing, and cross-functional collaboration. The candidate should be resilient, data-savvy, and experienced in fast-paced B2B environments.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end category strategy
- Conducting market and internal data analysis
- Leading range reviews and product lifecycle management
- Building business cases for new products
- Collaborating with procurement on sourcing and with finance on costs and pricing
- Supporting sustainability initiatives
Requirements include proven experience in Category/Product Management, strong data analysis skills, stakeholder management, process improvement experience, strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and experience with wide product ranges, especially in packaging, industrial supplies, or machinery.
Salary & Benefits include hybrid working in Towcester and home working options.
