Join us as a Sales Consultant at Co-op.
Base pay range
Sales Consultant – Legal Services: £25,000–£28,500 base salary; OTE £42,000 plus benefits. Monday‑Friday, 37.5 hours flexible between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Some evening requirements and one in four Saturdays, or part‑time minimum 4 days per week. Work remotely across England and Wales with occasional travel. Start date: 19 January 2026.
Responsibilities
- Attend video or phone-based appointments to discuss the benefits of later‑life legal services with clients.
- Work closely with clients to identify their needs, providing information and solutions to best meet their requirements.
- Explain legal issues to clients in an understandable way, without legal jargon.
- Develop positive relationships with Co‑op colleagues, working together to provide the best possible client journey.
- Achieve agreed targets to deliver outstanding client outcomes and commercial success.
- Occasionally travel for face‑to‑face client or company meetings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of B2B or B2C consultative sales and supporting customers to make decisions.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Confidence, empathy and understanding when speaking with potential clients.
- Active listening skills with the ability to adapt your communication style and engage a diverse range of clients through telephone, video, and face‑to‑face discussions.
- Ability to consult and influence while showing enthusiasm for our products and services.
- Advanced level of literacy and numeracy.
- Ability to achieve key targets.
- Good general IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
