Job Summary
As an SDR for Astute Payroll by Deel, you'll play a pivotal role in breaking into a brand new market. You will be focused on building relationships with multiple contacts across various levels of our target customers within the staffing and temporary recruitment industry in the UK. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with the broader sales and leadership team, conducting market research to identify new potential customers and leads, and qualifying these leads by understanding their current technology stack and future projects.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth for Astute Payroll through inbound and outbound prospecting, generating opportunities with net-new accounts through targeted outreach.
- Learn from our experienced sales team and assist in developing the sector's knowledge of our world-class staffing solutions.
- Educate and nurture leads through inbound and outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, events, webinars, and various campaigns.
- Develop a deep understanding of lead generation processes, supporting marketing activities, prospect touchpoints, and facilitating the handoff to an Account Executive.
- Create email sequences and make cold calls to map and penetrate accounts effectively.
- Conduct follow-up calls and emails until meetings are successfully set.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales development or similar (hunter) outbound commercial role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote team environment.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn.
- Capable of working autonomously and sourcing solutions independently.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a quota-carrying role.
- Experience with Salesforce and sales engagement tools is a plus.
- You are intelligent and hardworking.
- You possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong growth mindset.
- You can craft compelling email copy and sequence campaigns that convert.
- Adaptable and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment.
- An active relationship builder, capable of collaborating with internal and external teams to improve processes and communication workflows consistently.
- Experience working within the recruitment sector is preferred.
- Experience at a fast-growing startup is preferred.
- Prior successful experience in a remote and distributed team is preferred.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt and progress upwards within a fast growing organisation.
