The Role

We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Sales Director UK (f/m/d) to lead and expand the company’s operations in the UK. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious professional ready to step into a leadership role and shape the future of a small but growing legal entity. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the local sales strategy, developing key client relationships, and driving business growth. In addition to sales leadership, this role includes the overall management of a local team across different functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and business development strategy aligned with corporate goals.
  • Drive revenue growth and market share expansion across key industry segments.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the local team (three employees across various functions).
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities and challenges.
  • Oversee sales planning, forecasting, reporting, and budget control.
  • Build a strong sales culture with a focus on developing a network of high-performing “hunter” sales professionals.
  • Ensure effective management of the UK legal entity, fostering operational excellence and compliance.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales role.
  • Proven record of achieving significant sales growth and developing new markets.
  • Background in manufacturing, industrial automation, or related sectors preferred.
  • Academic background in a technical field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Nice to have: Previous experience in managing a team.
