AD Energy Recruitment is in partnership with a world-wide leader selling premium and smart solar energy solutions. The organisation has a renowned brand in the industry and supplies innovative Solar PV solutions internationally to residential, commercial, and utilities/EPC markets.
AD Energy Recruitment is experiencing growth and expanding into new international markets. They are expanding in Europe and bolstering the commercial operation in the UK. This appointment will strengthen market presence and focus on the new range of products being sold to installers and smaller wholesalers across the UK.

Responsibilities
- Manage existing key accounts - wholesalers - and installer sales in the UK
- Execute expansion sales strategy in region, winning new wholesaler agreements across the UK and Ireland
- Lead, motivate and expand the sales team, currently in single digits but with scope to grow heavily in the next 12-18 months
- Undertake business development tasks for the region
- Be a brand advocate, ensuring exceptional knowledge of the full product portfolio
- Attend all initial commercial and product queries
- Manage sales pipeline and achieve or surpass sales goals set
- Actively acquire new customers specifically with solar and electrical installers
- Maintain relationships with installers and distributors across the UK
- Organise and conduct sales and product training to partners and clients
- Consolidate brand presence in region
- Assist in the growth of the headcount
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions and external marketing
Qualifications
- Possess a passion for energy, renewables, engineering and the clean energy market
- Proven sales experience selling high-tech innovative products within a market region
- Track record of increasing market share in a challenging market
- Direct experience with solar PV, solar systems, or energy storage technologies advantageous
- Understanding of the local Solar and ESS market preferable
- Exceptional business relationship management skills and acumen
- A strong and clear communicator
- Customer-orientated, focused on delivering client satisfaction
- Passion for selling great and cutting-edge products
- Enthusiasm for learning and affinity for solar, energy storage and renewables sector
- Ability to work within demanding and rapid growth setting
- Independent worker but also a team player
- Home based in the UK and willing to travel frequently
