We’re exclusively partnered with a leading media and events business in the motorsports industry to find an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Executive. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who’s looking to break into the sports industry, develop professionally, and benefit from exceptional earning potential - with uncapped commission and realistic first-year earnings of up to £55K.

The Opportunity

Our client operates the most established business network in global motorsport, providing a premium offering of industry events, media, and membership products. Their platforms connect decision-makers, drive commercial growth, and shape the future of the sport.

You’ll be joining a fast‑paced and growing team, engaging with high‑level stakeholders across motorsport and selling a portfolio of respected products with a strong reputation in the market.

The Role

As a Business Development Executive, you’ll focus on acquiring new business across memberships, sponsorships, media packages, and event partnerships. You’ll take ownership of the full sales process, from prospecting to closing, and play a critical role in expanding the brand’s commercial reach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business through outbound calls, emails, and face‑to‑face meetings
  • Sell across a portfolio of premium B2B products including events, memberships, and media
  • Identify and capitalise on new commercial opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers in motorsport
  • Keep accurate records in the CRM (HubSpot)
  • Hit and exceed activity KPIs and revenue targets
  • Represent the company at high‑profile motorsport events (some international travel required)

About You

  • 1-2 years B2B sales experience (e.g. media, events, recruitment, SaaS)
  • Track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue
  • Self‑motivated, confident, and commercially minded
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A natural relationship builder with strong presentation ability
  • Passion for motorsport or a strong interest in the sector is highly desirable
  • Ambitious and looking to progress quickly within a growth business
