Salary: £30,000 + £5,700 - £8,100 OTE

The role is phone based and the first point of contact with borrowers. You will speak with a diverse range of SME owners to understand their business, goals and show how Funding Circle can help.
Responsibilities
- Working with warm leads to generate new opportunities through business development of new Funding Circle borrowers (c.60-80 dials per day).
- Establishing instant rapport with customers via telephone and email to build strong relationships.
- Pitching the Funding Circle proposition against alternative funding options available.
- Managing a high-volume, fast-paced pipeline; supporting clients through each stage of creating an application.
- Being responsible for your own monthly target and continuously developing your approach to hit it.
- Proactively problem solving, identifying and mitigating risks, issues or control weaknesses in day-to-day activities.
- Experience in a sales or service environment is beneficial, even if not extensive.
- Strong communication skills; confident engaging with small business owners over the phone and via email.
- Ability to develop and maintain your pipeline while managing applications in progress.
- Proactivity and a desire to develop your career with ongoing feedback and continuous development in sales at Funding Circle.
Career start and progression
Sales Executive (Account Executive) is the first step in your career within Sales at Funding Circle. You will learn the foundations of sales and account management starting with a tailored two-week Sales Induction programme. Ongoing tools and support help you thrive and progress to more senior roles such as Account Manager, Business Development Executive and Sales Team Manager.
