Sales Lead - Concrete

At Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals, we are looking for a Sales Lead – Concrete for the South/London regions. This is a market specialist role that will take a strategic position with our Concrete customer accounts, you will grow the existing business within UK through visiting existing and potential customers and building relationships at all levels.This role will also be including pursuing and managing the development of value adding products within the strategic plan of the customers and Construction Chemicals UKI.As our Sales Lead, you will mentor and develop the knowledge of our sales team in concrete, supporting and enabling them to meet our sales targets.The role is home-based, but extensive travel around London and the South regions would be required.What we’re looking forMinimum of 5 years’ technical sales experience within concrete or closely related industries/product rangesProven track record of managing and growing customer accounts, with the ability to identify and implement opportunities to deliver valueStrong leadership skills, with the ability to drive results through others and develop performance within a commercial teamDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal functions such as marketing, technical service, and product managementProfessional approach with excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levelsWhat you’ll be doingTake the lead on business initiatives with key customer accounts, developing and delivering strategic plans for profitable growthWork closely with management on both individual and team sales targets, maintaining a detailed pipeline of short, medium, and long-term opportunitiesMentor and develop the UKI sales team, building their knowledge and capability to support the achievement of sales objectivesCollaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, technical services, and product management) and network with Construction Chemicals UKI concrete specialists to share expertise, best practice, and innovative techniquesAre Construction Chemicals and Saint-Gobain inclusive employers?Saint-Gobain is the worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction improving daily life through high-performance solutions.
