Bob's Business is a thriving and dynamic Cybersecurity Awareness company based in the heart of South Yorkshire. We are a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional results. As our company continues to expand, we are looking for an ambitious and meticulous individual to join our team and become the backbone of our business operations.
The Role
This is a critical role that blends direct sales with partner management. You’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle: from generating new opportunities, through demos and proposals, to closing deals. You’ll also manage existing partners and build new relationships across the UK and abroad.
In addition, you’ll oversee the other aspects of the sales process (lead follow-up, scheduling, quotes) until further team members are added.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end sales process: prospecting, qualifying, demos, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
- Drive partner acquisition and management, enabling partners to promote Bob’s solutions effectively.
- Manage and nurture inbound leads (MQLs) to SQLs, ensuring strong conversion rates.
- Deliver engaging demonstrations of Bob’s cybersecurity awareness products.
- Create accurate quotes and proposals, tracking through to close.
- Provide clear reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and sales activity.
- Represent Bob’s Business at events, trade shows, webinars, and partner forums, including customer on-site visits (some travel involved).
- Work closely with marketing to share insights on customer needs, reasons for wins/losses, and general market feedback to drive product and campaign improvements.
- Support wider sales operations (CRM updates, sales collateral, admin) as required.
- Participate in ongoing product training to ensure strong knowledge of our platform and value proposition.
Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years in B2B sales, ideally SaaS, cybersecurity, or IT services.
- Must have partner/channel management experience (acquiring, enabling, and managing partner relationships).
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience working within (or selling into) the cybersecurity community; bonus if familiar with the security awareness training sector.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to translate technical topics into business value.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working remotely.
- Creative and persistent approach to sales, with ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively.
Why Join Us?
