Cavendish is looking for a Conveyancing Sale Progressor to join the team and be the driving force behind our property transactions. We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to manage the full conveyancing process from offer to completion.

In this vital role, you\'ll serve as the central point of contact for clients, estate agents, and solicitors, ensuring smooth communication and swift progression. Your keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills will be key in anticipating and resolving potential delays, allowing our conveyancers to focus on the legal work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive Communication: Initiate regular updates to clients and referrers, acting as the primary point of contact to reduce inbound inquiries and ensure everyone stays informed.
  • Sales Progression & Tracking: Monitor the case pipeline, chase outstanding documents (searches, mortgage offers, etc.), and proactively flag delays to ensure a smooth, timely completion.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with estate agents and brokers, tailoring communication to their needs to ensure they feel valued.
  • Operational Awareness: Collaborate with conveyancers to understand case status and priorities, use case management systems to track progress, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Reporting & Feedback: Provide weekly reports on progress, issues, and key performance indicators.

Person Specification

  • Experience: Background in property sales progression in an estate agency or conveyancing environment, with a strong understanding of the mortgage and conveyancing process.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills.
    • Confident phone manner and ability to handle challenging conversations.
    • Proactive mindset with attention to detail.
  • Tools: Familiarity with conveyancing case management systems (e.g., Proclaim, LEAP, etc.) and CRM platforms.
