Hybrid – minimum one day per month in a UK office (London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Norwich or Luton)

Permanent role

Lorien is partnering with a leading UK organisation on an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Marketing Consultant to take ownership of their Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and drive its evolution. This is a strategic, hands‑on role at the heart of a major transformation, giving you the chance to influence architecture, integrations, and roadmap decisions from day one.

Why this role?

  • Impact from the start: you’ll join at a pivotal stage in their Salesforce journey, with Marketing Cloud capability still in its infancy. Think of it as a blank canvas—your expertise will define how the platform scales and delivers value.
  • Strategic ownership: act as the Marketing Cloud product owner, shaping architecture, governance, and integrations across the Salesforce suite and wider tech ecosystem.
  • Cross‑functional exposure: collaborate with marketing, customer operations, IT, and data teams to deliver seamless, data‑driven customer experiences.
  • Future‑focused: with a major rebrand and retail growth ambitions on the horizon, this role is critical to unlocking new digital engagement strategies.

What you’ll do

  • Own and optimise the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including roadmap development, configuration, and governance.
  • Design and deliver solutions using Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder.
  • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and integration with Data Cloud and CRM.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain robust security protocols.
  • Drive continuous improvement through analytics and insights, leveraging tools like Google Analytics, Datorama, and Tableau.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio) and strong technical skills in AMPscript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
  • Experience with API integrations, data extensions, and Salesforce ecosystem tools (Data Cloud, CRM).
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Background in large‑scale organisations or consultancy/vendor environments.
  • Understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and multi‑channel campaigns.
  • Location: Hybrid, minimum of 1 day a month to one of their UK offices (London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Norwich, Luton).
  • Flexibility: open to 4‑day weeks and flexible hours.
  • Interview process: two stages.
  • Notice periods: we’re happy to wait for the right person.
