Job Description:

Are you an experienced Salesforce professional with a passion for designing, building, delivering, and maintaining solutions? After a major transformation project we have gone live with Sales and Service Cloud, CPQ, Billing and Pardot Service Cloud, and are looking to add to our in-house Salesforce team a Technical Consultant who work as part of a team to develop business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, and configurations, along with testing and deployment of solutions.

What will you be doing?

The Salesforce Technical Consultant will support in developing business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design (including UI/UX knowledge), and configurations, along with testing, training and deployment of solutions. Key job accountabilities:

  • Design, build, and deliver tailored solutions (including training and documentation) for the business using Salesforce and other connected technologies.
  • Provide coaching in best practices for Salesforce administration and implementation to enhance user experience.
  • Use Salesforce automation to streamline internal processes.
  • Manage multiple stakeholder engagements and work with relevant team members to learn project requirements, facilitate process analysis sessions, and develop technology solutions.
  • Identify project issues and risks, and present alternatives for alleviating or resolving them.
  • Support end users of Salesforce
  • Development and maintenance of the Salesforce platform

About you:

You will possess a range of skills including Salesforce development, administration and functional skills and will heavily involve cross-departmental communication to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the development, administration, and support of Salesforce systems (Essential).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities, including Sales Cloud, CPQ Service Cloud, Pardot etc (Essential).
  • Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD best practise (Desirable).
  • Familiarity with 3rd party tools like Ownbackup, DocuSign, Conga etc (Desirable)
  • Ability to learn new concepts and software quickly and passionate about learning new technologies (Essential).
  • Salesforce certification in admin, development and one of the Salesforce cloud applications (Essential)
  • Experience with technical implementations (Essential).
  • Advanced experience with Salesforce configurations (Essential).
  • Background in CRM process design and implementation (Essential)
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools and ETL (extract, transform, load) tools (Desirable)
  • Familiarity with tools like Ownbackup, SFDX, CLI. Visual Studio Code and GitHub, etc (Desirable).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality (essential)
