Overview
Our client, an award-winning SAP partner, is expanding its SAP business across the UK and Europe. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated FICO & PS Consultant to join the Run SAP FICO Team to support BAU activities across multiple customers. The client is remote-first; this role will require some client visits. Security Clearance is required for suitable accounts, so it would be suitable for those able to obtain SC clearance.
This role requires a significant focus on Project Systems across multiple customers. The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of understanding around Project Systems configuration and key operational procedures, supported with an evidenced history of supporting Project Systems. Additionally, experience in any combination of the following SAP FICO modules is desirable: AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Product costing and Profit Centre Accounting. Experience in Treasury Management or Fiori is advantageous.
What you will be doing
Working closely with our varied customer base, providing advice and support around FICO SAP configuration and business processes.
Support and liaise closely with corresponding client teams to resolve issues, provide solutions, and offer support to clients to meet contractual obligations.
Deliver great customer service and build effective relationships with colleagues and internal & external customers.
Deliver customer change by gathering and analysing requirements, defining, validating, and designing solutions.
Translate requirements into estimates and functional specifications, detailing SAP configuration, ABAP changes, and security requirements.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
Establish implementation / cutover plans and educate for ongoing support.
Occasional involvement in short-term projects providing support for FICO-related activities.
Qualifications
Experience in a SAP FICO Consultant role
Excellent knowledge and proven experience in customizing and developing SAP FICO solutions using ABAP programming and enhancements
A good understanding and experience of FICO-related business processes
Experience of Functional Unit Testing, System Integration Testing and defect management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong personal and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work at pace managing own workload to meet challenging deadlines
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands
S/4HANA experience is advantageous
Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) is advantageous
Nice to have
SAP Certified, or willingness to commit to a learning journey which will be encouraged and supported
