Overview

We are seeking an SAP Finance Functional Manager – Controlling who will be an integral part of our SAP delivery projects as a Functional Expert in Finance and Controlling. The role involves translating business and functional requirements into SAP design documents, leading functional teams, and contributing to the Fit‑to‑Standard approach for SAP S/4 transformations.

Responsibilities

• Work with single or multiple clients as a Functional Expert in Finance and Controlling.
• Engage in long‑term projects, collaborating with clients and functional teams to design and implement SAP solutions.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of SAP Finance experience with knowledge of end‑to‑end processes related to SAP Controlling and cross‑functional integration (Order to Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay).
• At least 4 full lifecycle implementations of all phases.
• Good knowledge of Inventory Valuation, Profitability Analysis, Internal Orders, Product Costing and Cost/Profit Center Accounting.
• Extensive experience in SAP S/4 transformations with a track record of successful project implementations.
• Ability to lead workshops, document requirements and translate business needs into SAP solutions.
• Proven capability in defining SAP Finance functional roadmaps and strategies for clients.
• Experience leading business process reengineering efforts to optimize finance‑related workflows and enhance process efficiency.
• Collaboration with stakeholders at various levels, including C‑suite executives, to present functional strategies and gain buy‑in.

Desirable Skills

• Strong understanding of controlling and cost management process.
• Broader understanding of S/4 HANA technology landscape, S/4 HANA Migration and complementary or third‑party solutions.
• Experience in handling revenue recognition using result analysis and event‑based revenue recognition.
• Exposure to project management solutions PPM, CPM and EPPM for project cost planning, budgeting and settlement.
• Aspiration to obtain or already hold SAP S/4 HANA cloud certification in a functional area.
• Experience on SAP public and private cloud projects at any scale.
• Interest in specializing as a functional SME in a specific area of Finance.
