OverviewA SAP PMR Functional Consultant is required for an initial 6 month contract. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week on site in Leeds and is inside IR35 so will require working via an FCSA accredited umbrella company.ResponsibilitiesInvolved in end to end phases of SAP implementation projects, played client facing roles and managed client workshops.Acts as the custodian of the solution, validates proposed changes and assesses impacts.Supports SAP deployment teams in the prepare phase and/or fit-gap as needed, expected to lead fit-gap workshops and explain the template for short periods of time.Ensures business requirements are translated into complete and accurate system specifications.Manages the process to translate gaps into RICEFW objects and estimates effort/impact of each object.Responsible for the assessment, management and delivery of all configuration changes in approved Change Requests (excluding Global Configuration requirements); provides updates to the Global Configuration Document.Creates/reviews all functional requirements specifications and interface requirements specifications, test scenarios, and training materials required for template localizations.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum of 10-12 years of experience in IT services or products.8+ years of experience in SAP, in Retail functional modules, including SAP Promotion Management for Retail (PMR).Very good understanding of SAP PMR.Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects, client-facing roles and conducting client workshops.Ability to translate business requirements into complete and accurate system specifications and to manage gaps into RICEFW objects.Experience with Change Requests and updating configuration documentation, as well as creating functional and interface specifications, test scenarios and training materials for template localizations.LA International is a HMG approved ICT Recruitment and Project Solutions Consultancy, operating globally from the largest single site in the UK as an IT Consultancy or as an Employment Business & Agency depending upon the precise nature of the work.
