As an SAP UK Payroll HCM Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering expert guidance and hands-on support in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP HCM modules—especially UK Payroll. You’ll collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and compliance with UK regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support full lifecycle SAP UK Payroll implementations
- Configure and customize SAP HCM modules: Personnel Administration, Time Management, Org Management
- Develop and maintain Payroll schemas and PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules)
- Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and year-end processing
- Integrate SAP Payroll with third-party systems and vendors
- Troubleshoot payroll issues and provide long-term solutions
- Conduct training and support for end-users and stakeholders
- Stay updated on SAP releases and legal changes affecting UK payroll
- Proven experience in SAP ECC HCM and UK Payroll
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and statutory reporting
- Expertise in writing and debugging Payroll PCRs and schemas
- Familiarity with interfaces and integration tools (e.g., IDOCs, BAPIs)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, HR, or related field
- SAP certification in HCM/Payroll (preferred)
- Experience across multiple project lifecycles
