Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Base SAS, SAS/Macros, SAS/SQL, and SAS Viya tools like SAS Studio and Data Integration Studio. Create flows in SAS Viya Studio to help stakeholders interpret and explore data. Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Optimize and troubleshoot existing SAS DI code conversion to SAS Viya code and workflows to ensure high performance and accuracy. Manage data within the SAS Viya integrated Speedystore/Singlestore DB environment, including creating, loading, and modifying tables and data sources. Perform model development tasks, including validating and monitoring analytical models within the SAS Viya environment. Implement and test solutions that integrate with external systems using relevant methods. Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle within an Agile or similar methodology. Ensure data integrity and adhere to best practices for data governance, quality, and security. Document technical designs, code, and project processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 5+ years of SAS programming experience, including 1–2 years on SAS Viya. Strong skills in Base SAS, SAS/Macros, and SAS/SQL. Hands‑on experience with SAS Viya tools like Visual Analytics, SAS Studio, and Singlestore DB. Proficient in ETL processes, data warehousing, and data management. Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms. Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving abilities. Effective communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. SAS Viya certification and experience with Python or R within SAS Viya. Knowledge of Git, Apache Airflow, and experience in regulated industries like finance or insurance.
