Overview

Senior Consultant - Electrical Engineering | Specialist in Renewable & Transmission and Distribution (T&D) projects. Location: Remote. Salary: Competitive. Our client is a market-leading Renewable Energy company based in the UK with global presence, mainly invested in large-scale BESS and Solar Farm projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop new SCADA designs, enhance current designs, and provide standard SCADA solutions.
• Offer cyber security solutions for sites.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to provide designs for SCADA panels.
• Own all communications and SCADA designs and paperwork.
• Create signal lists that include the necessary I/O, communications, and other signals.
• Draw up network architecture and site-wide communications diagrams.
• Battery, inverter, PPM/PPC, aggregator (plant commercial operator), tracker, PV optimiser, SCADA APIs for metering, and BESS system integration.
• Perform field audits (FATs) on all SCADA and telecom panels.
• Increase the SCADA's business capability.
• Assist subcontractors with any configuration of the HMI.
• Aid in the commissioning of any SCADA systems.
