SCUK Data & Reporting Manager

We are now looking for a Data and Reporting Manager to be responsible for developing and maintaining standardised automated reporting processes conforming with data governance requirements across SCUK's Operation. This is key to ensure business as usual KPI's can be measured by leadership teams and that ongoing change is supported by meaningful and analysed data. This role is hybrid with at least 3 days a week in the Redhill office. Remote workers will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain standardised automated reporting to streamline operations and provide a single source of truth to track operational performance
  • Ensure all data is clear and engaging through visualisations when presented
  • Manage various initiatives and contribute towards programme and project deliverables through the production of meaningful reports and complex data analysis
  • Provide a rapid response service to address quick-fire and simple business questions
  • Define, create and maintain data for ad-hoc and regular reporting and dashboards needed for programme delivery and portfolio-level decision making
  • Handle large volumes of data using SAS, SQL Server and Business Objects
  • Communicate, present and influence at all levels
  • Create and update procedure guides to evidence how tools and reports function
  • Promote sound governance and work in line with control frameworks to ensure data accuracy
  • Adhere to our commitment to Consumer Duty, ensuring we put customers' needs first and uphold high standards of consumer protection
  • Extensive experience in BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView for data visualisation and analysis (Strong experience in Power BI is a bonus)
  • Experience in a complex role producing management information (MI)
  • Mastery of data visualisation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel for data manipulation (Index, Match, VBA, complex formulas)
  • Demonstrable experience in SAS, SQL Server and Business Objects
  • Advanced knowledge of database interrogation and programming (relational databases, complex queries, indexes, and constraints)
  • Solid understanding of data security and compliance standards to protect data integrity and confidentiality
  • Experience implementing control mechanisms to prevent data quality issues
  • Proven ability to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly
  • Ability to use technical writing to create accurate product and service documentation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills to develop methodologies and processes

Experience and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in use of BI tools for data visualisation and analysis
  • Previous experience in a complex MI-producing role
  • Demonstrable data visualisation expertise
  • Experience with SAS, SQL Server and Business Objects

Santander Consumer Finance UK (SCUK) is based in Redhill, Surrey and provides motor finance to a network of car dealerships throughout the United Kingdom.
