SD-WAN Network Architect – UK Remote – Up to £80,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced Network Architect looking to lead large-scale SD-WAN transformations across enterprise environments? This is an opportunity to join a well-established UK Managed Service Provider, delivering secure, high-performance networking and connectivity solutions across both the public and private sectors.

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end SD-WAN architecture, working across Fortinet and Meraki technologies to design, document, and guide successful implementations. This is a role that combines technical design, project leadership, and strategic input, giving you scope to shape the future of customer networks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for SD-WAN solutions
• Oversee end-to-end SD-WAN implementation, ensuring design integrity and best practice
• Act as a technical design authority, reviewing and validating solution proposals
• Work closely with delivery and operations teams to ensure seamless handover and optimisation
• Provide consultancy on SD-WAN architecture, integration, and scaling
• Collaborate with sales and project management teams to scope and shape client solutions

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience designing and implementing SD-WAN solutions (Fortinet and/or Meraki)
• Strong understanding of routing, WAN, and security fundamentals
• Experience producing HLDs, LLDs, and architectural documentation
• Background working within an MSP or enterprise network environment
• Ability to guide technical delivery teams through rollout and transition phases
• Fortinet NSE7 SD-WAN certification is a plus, but not essential
• Confident communicator – able to articulate complex solutions clearly
