Senior Account Executive (EMEA) at Skillable. Skillable is a 100% remote and virtual tech company modernizing the world of training. We are hiring a Senior (Enterprise) Account Executive who will own the full sales cycle from inception to building relationships with key stakeholders to negotiating and contracting with enterprise prospective clients. The role sits on the Sales team, driving revenue growth and ensuring our products reach the right customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and drive strategic client prospecting, key presentations, negotiations, contract development, and product solutions with stakeholders and executives; ensure milestones are met to win new logos and support revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute account penetration strategies for top-tier accounts.
  • Conduct high-touch, strategic prospecting in collaboration with ABM campaigns and Sales Development activities.
  • Build sales pipelines through disciplined networking, prospecting, discovery, and qualification techniques.
  • Generate self-sourced first meetings in addition to those from Demand Generation to maintain pipeline coverage for quota targets.
  • Document and maintain sales opportunity data and provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead to close, coordinating Skillable assets and cross-functional resources.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales and the broader team to develop strategy, monitor KPIs, and achieve revenue goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to understand prospect outcomes and propose solutions to ensure satisfaction and success.
  • Sell a complete virtual labs solution with content, services, and support to meet training and validation needs.
  • Partner with product, technology, and customer experience teams to stay aware of key features and differentiators.
  • Develop knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly quotas.
  • Mentor and guide other Revenue Team members in strategy to shorten sales cycles and win new logos.
  • Support and promote company values through regular positive interactions with partners and customers.
  • Engage in other strategic initiatives or cross-functional projects as required.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in technology sales; 5+ years selling directly to enterprise-level customers.
  • Full-cycle new business acquisition in HR, Learning & Development, or ed-tech space preferred.
  • Proven ability to sell enterprise solutions in a 100% remote environment with strong digital selling, written communication, social selling, and online presentations.
  • Experience navigating longer sales cycles up to two years.
  • Knowledge of technology education trends and enterprise technology skill needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills.
  • Inquisitive with a desire to solve problems and analyze details.
  • Effective communication to various audiences and leadership levels through multiple mediums.
  • Ability to deconstruct complex matters into concise, impactful messages and present them to different personas.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload; strong MS Office, web conferencing, and internal communication skills; detail-oriented and organized.
  • High level of enthusiasm, integrity, professionalism, and confidence.

Salary Range and Working Conditions

The base salary for this position is $145,000 - $160,000 USD annually. This role is not eligible for Skillable’s corporate bonus plan. Compensation will be determined based on level, skills, qualifications, experience, and position requirements. Skillable is distributed-first with employees across the U.S. and does not consider geography when determining compensation ranges. The company reserves the right to modify the compensation range at any time. Pay range and current benefits are effective for 90 days from posting date and may change upon periodic review.

Note: This page reflects remote work conditions. Travel may be required up to approximately 10% of the time.
