Senior Account Executive, Retail (United Kingdom) at Shopify. This is a remote position based in UK&I. The role involves guiding high growth and complex merchants on how to accelerate their business growth by leveraging the Shopify retail platform and ecosystem. The Retail Sales team works with merchants across EMEA, advising on both online and offline omnichannel strategies.
Responsibilities
- Guide high growth and complex merchants on accelerating business growth by leveraging the Shopify retail platform and ecosystem.
- Consult with merchants on omnichannel strategies to optimize online and offline commerce needs.
- Collaborate with regional EMEA teams to support merchant growth and Shopify adoption.
Key Requirements
- Proficiency in English; native or bilingual proficiency in Italian is required.
- Experience in a full-cycle sales role with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to identify and close high-value opportunities.
- Experience negotiating complex deals with a focus on win-win outcomes.
- Consultative and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to discuss various product offerings.
- Extensive experience with outbound prospecting, territory development, and building a robust pipeline.
- Comfort with deep product knowledge and becoming a Shopify product expert.
- Ability to create multi-product pipeline generation strategies driven by sales, marketing, partnerships, events, etc.
