Senior Actuarial Consultant – Life Insurance role
Location: National
Role and responsibilities
- Solvency UK/II calculations, modelling and regulatory returns
- Pricing and product development
- Attending client meetings, providing support for tenders and presentations
- Experience of working in an actuarial valuation or reporting environment
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills
- Previous Solvency UK/II reporting experience is preferred
- The Life Insurance consultancy team provides services from a fully outsourced actuarial function (including Chief Actuary) to project-based work for Life Insurance firms, including pricing, transfers, reserving, capital management, internal model development, with-profits management, independent expert and external assurance work

Requirements and qualifications
- Passes in several actuarial exams required for qualification as FIA or FFA and ongoing study toward further progress
- Experience of working in an actuarial valuation or reporting environment (as above)
