Senior Advertising Manager

Following an exciting period of expansion, we’re looking to add a Senior Advertising Manager to join our Paid Advertising Team.

Working alongside and reporting to the Head of Advertising, you’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of all PPC & DSP campaigns on Amazon across multiple client accounts.

Founded in 2016 as an Amazon agency, Optimizon is one of the UK’s most exciting and fast‑growing marketplace agencies, dedicated to building and protecting brands on marketplaces such as Amazon, Wayfair, Onbuy, Mano Mano, DIY.com and many more all over the world.

Remote‑first, with hubs in London and Swindon for collaboration, we operate through a multi‑team structure led by our Account Managers and supported by our Creative, Advertising, Data Analysis, and Technical teams.

You will be part of a friendly and supportive team and will have the opportunity to work with some fantastic and well‑established clients and brands. You will also receive access to the Amazon learning console to conduct the relevant training and receive support and training internally too.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and work with Junior Advertising Managers to build engaging campaigns that align with client goals across different Amazon markets.
  • Strategic planning of client budgets in line with their goals, using a variety of marketing channels for a holistic approach.
  • Keyword and product research based on Amazon customer searches, using a number of tools to extract data.
  • Assist in monthly PPC reporting documents to be sent to clients.
  • Ongoing Amazon paid advertising campaign creation and management utilising third‑party bidding software (bid adjustments, negative keywords, scaling, etc.).
  • Identify key opportunities to promote products and recommend improvements to clients.
  • Work towards strict targets and KPIs.
  • Competitor analysis.
  • Liaise closely with the creative team to improve overall efficiency (product page CRO, etc.).
  • Frequently analyse results to ensure budget is being spent effectively.

Who are we looking for?

  • Excellent understanding and experience of managing multiple paid media platforms.
  • Confident in leading strategy and budget to hit client KPIs, acting as client point of contact.
  • Strong experience within PPC; programmatic experience is a plus.
  • Sociable, enjoys regular discussions with team members and builds strong client relationships.
  • Target‑driven and hungry to go beyond meeting client goals.
  • Experience working in an agency environment juggling multiple client accounts.
  • Data‑driven, able to turn data into actionable insights and provide continuous optimisation at scale.
  • Enthusiastic about constantly testing different marketing initiatives and delivering results.
  • Passionate about retail products and keen to learn about client brands.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Amazon Seller & Vendor Central.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Amazon advertising.
  • Strong experience in Amazon DSP.
  • Experience with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) is beneficial.
  • Experience/knowledge of other platforms such as Google, TikTok, eBay.
  • Outgoing personality and excellent verbal/written communication.
  • E‑commerce/retail experience is advantageous.
  • Self‑starter, self‑motivated, keen to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, small environment.
  • Strong professionalism and ability to work under pressure.
  • Highly organised, multitask without loss of output.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analysis skills – understand ROAS/TACoS.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to present findings to clients/ stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; collaborate with remote‑first team and client interactions via video, phone, email.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics or STEM.
  • Accreditations/Certifications in digital marketing (Amazon Ads, Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Google Analytics).
  • Fluency in a second language (DE/FR/IT/ES) is beneficial but not essential.

Hiring Process

  2. Stage 2 – Short task: complete a short test to demonstrate practical knowledge and approach.
  3. Stage 3 – Second interview: present your results to the Head of Advertising and Chief Client Officer.
