Job Description:
I am looking for a Senior/Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to work with a client based in Southampton, offering a flexible hybrid model.
Working within an established team on sensor design, the Senior Analog IC Design Engineer will work at transistor, cell, or block level and will have the ability to translate design requirements into verified design solutions quickly and accurately to meet specifications and project schedules. Previous experience designing CMOS Readout ICs or imaging devices would be advantageous.
Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge
- Recognised degree (or higher) in Electronics Engineering or Physics with Electronics
- IT / Unix literate, able to use industry-standard IC design tools (Cadence preferred) for schematic design, simulation, physical layout, and verification
- Knowledge of CMOS technology and foundry processes
- Ability to perform complex analysis, modeling, and problem solving
- Ability to work to specifications and program schedules
Desirable
- Understanding of silicon device ‘tape out’ process
- Experience in the design of Image Sensors
- Knowledge of CMOS technology and foundry processes
- Analog micro-electronics knowledge
- Laboratory testing and measurement skills
- Language skills: Verilog/Verilog-A, VHDL, Matlab, LabVIEW, etc.
The successful applicant will have an Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design background with significant layout experience and be comfortable doing layout of blocks.
It is required that you have a minimum of 3 years residency within the UK. Visa sponsorship is available for suitable applicants.
