Senior Architectural Technologist – Location: West Sussex. Salary: £45-55,000 DOE. A well-established, design-driven architectural studio based in West Sussex is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to strengthen its delivery team. With a reputation for innovative, technically robust, and beautifully resolved projects, the practice delivers across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, leisure, heritage, and retrofit sectors. This role offers the opportunity to take responsibility on technically complex schemes, particularly in cladding remediation and retrofit projects, while contributing to a varied and rewarding portfolio.

Daily duties

  • Leading the technical delivery of projects across all RIBA stages
  • Developing detailed design and construction information, with particular focus on cladding remediation and retrofit projects
  • Producing, coordinating and managing Revit/Revit LT models, including model sharing and collaboration with wider teams
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities
  • Ensuring compliance with current legislation, building regulations, and industry standards
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members while contributing to quality assurance processes

The ideal candidate

  • Be an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist with UK-based project delivery experience
  • Demonstrate proven expertise in cladding remediation and/or retrofit projects
  • Be a confident and advanced user of Revit/Revit LT, including collaborative model sharing
  • Possess strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methodologies
  • Show excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Have strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate across disciplines
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment while taking ownership of technically demanding projects
