Job Title: Senior Automation Tester
Contract: Outside IR35 / Market rates
Location: Full remote (occasional visits to Cheshire site)
Duration: 6 months + possible renewals

Role Purpose

We\'re looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join our clients dynamic Engineering team. You\'ll play a key role in building high-quality, scalable software solutions and help deliver reliable, high-performing software products through advanced testing practices and robust automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks using tools like Nightwatch, Selenium, or similar.
• Create and execute automated test scripts that align with changing requirements.
• Conduct API testing with tools such as Postman, and validate data using SQL queries.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business goals.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.

What We\'re Looking For

• Experience in automated testing and framework development.
• Solid understanding of SQL, JavaScript, and version control (e.g. Git).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and suggest improvements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience with Azure.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
