WPP’s global transformation requires more than just technology; it demands a deep understanding of human behaviour to ensure our 100,000 employees embrace new ways of working with our AI‑enabled marketing platform. As part of the Change and Enablement team, we are seeking a Senior Behavioral Designer to apply cutting‑edge behavioural science, designing interventions that ethically influence adoption, foster new mindsets, and drive sustained engagement across our diverse global workforce, particularly around AI ways of working and the Agentic E2E vision.

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Behavioral Designer, you will be a hands‑on expert, applying principles of behavioural science to deeply understand, predict, and influence employee behaviour related to the adoption and effective use of our new AI‑enabled marketing platform. You will identify critical behavioural insights and design impactful interventions that drive positive outcomes for our employees and the organisation within the Change and Enablement mandate, with a specific focus on enhancing Client and Employee Experience. You will collaborate closely with researchers to leverage insights.

You Will

Identify & Analyse Behavioural Drivers

  • Precisely identify key employee behaviours to target for platform adoption and new work methodologies, especially concerning AI ways of working and the Agentic E2E vision, analysing underlying motivations, barriers, and triggers.
  • Contribute to the development of compelling value propositions to inspire and drive platform engagement across all markets.

Design & Implement Behavioural Interventions

  • Design and implement targeted behavioural interventions, such as nudges, defaults, feedback loops, and social norms, directly within the platform experience and associated communication strategies, enhancing both Employee Experience and Client Experience.
  • Collaborate with Service Designers to seamlessly integrate behavioural insights into employee journey maps and service blueprints, optimising the overall platform experience.
  • Work closely with Instructional Designers to apply behavioural principles that significantly improve engagement and retention in learning programs, ensuring platform fluency and upskilling, particularly for AI ways of working.

Measure & Optimise Impact

  • Collaborate closely with dedicated researchers to leverage insights from behavioural research, including experiments to rigorously measure the effectiveness of behavioural interventions on platform usage and the adoption of new ways of working.
  • Analyse complex data and present clear, actionable findings and recommendations to cross‑functional teams, demonstrating the tangible impact of behavioural design.
  • Contribute to the development of ethical guidelines for behavioural interventions within the organisation, ensuring responsible and transparent practices.
  • Support the monitoring of individual and team progress toward behavioural and capability improvements.

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of dedicated experience applying behavioural science in a practical setting, ideally within internal product adoption, change management, or learning contexts.
  • Proven experience with experimental design and statistical analysis in a real‑world application.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of behavioural economics, psychology, human‑computer interaction, or a related field.
  • Ability to translate complex behavioural theories into actionable design solutions that address real‑world organisational challenges and drive measurable change, specifically in the context of AI ways of working, Agentic E2E vision, Employee Experience, and Client Team Experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex behavioural insights clearly and persuasively.
