Senior Bid Manager - Engineering Services role at Michael Page. Based in Greater Manchester, you will lead in preparing and managing bids, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of competitive bids in line with client specifications and timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary technical and commercial information.
• Ensure all bids meet industry and compliance standards within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
• Analyse bid requirements to identify risks and opportunities for the business.
• Maintain and update bid documentation and databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality proposals.
• Track and report on the progress of bids to senior management.
• Support the sales team in securing new business and achieving revenue targets.

Profile / Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in a bids related role
• Proven experience in bid management, ideally in a similar sector such as engineering, energy services, manufacturing (not essential)
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills and excellent communication skills
• Strong track record of managing end-to-end, high-value bids
• APMP qualification is desirable
• Strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple bids simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling proposals
• Proficiency in bid management tools and software to streamline processes
• Keen eye for detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams
