Senior Building Surveyor – Residential Propco – Hampshire - Hybrid

We are working with a leading residential Propco with an impressive multi-billion-pound portfolio across the UK. They are currently looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join a rapidly growing team at the forefront of the real estate market and oversee their CAPEX refurbishment projects across their southern portfolio.

Remuneration: Hybrid role with 1 day in the office per week.

The Role: The Senior Building Surveyor will oversee the southern residential leasehold portfolio, focusing on project management and contracts administration for refurbishment projects valued between £50,000 and approximately £3 million. The role involves pre-acquisition surveys, reinstatement cost assessments, dilapidations, defect diagnosis, building pathology, and input into 5/10-year PPMs. There are opportunities for mentoring junior staff and business development.

Requirements:

• MRICS qualification with a BSc in Building Surveying
• Experience managing residential PPM projects valued between £20k and £3 million
• Knowledge of JCT contracts, defect diagnosis, building pathology, dilapidations, RCA’s, and building regulations
• Excellent communication and report writing skills, able to work independently and in a team
• AutoCAD experience is desirable
