The Senior Business Analyst will conduct Business Analysis-related project work, support the Lead BA with Portfolio management, coach, mentor, and quality assure BA’s work within the portfolio. Working with the Business areas within their domain to identify & define opportunities for improvement and deliver change successfully.
What you’ll be doing as a Senior Business Analyst
- Build strong relationships and communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders.
- Manage risks related to analysis deliverables and the overall requirements of projects or programmes.
- Have a customer-centred outlook, working closely with business areas and Business Analysts to identify opportunities, guide, challenge preconceptions, and drive collaboration.
- Support Project Leads and teams in prioritising and decision-making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, adopting agile principles and practices to enhance change delivery.
- Act as escalation point for Business Analysts and stakeholders on analysis activities, facilitating discussions for resolution and planning.
- Provide Quality Assurance for Business Analyst deliverables and services.
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Base location: Hybrid, 2 days a week in the office at Clear Water Court, with some travel to sites.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 36 hours.
What you should bring to the role
- BCS Diploma or Equivalent.
- Extensive experience in Digital Business Analysis projects.
- Portfolio management experience for project ideas.
- Experience managing teams of Business Analysts.
- Coaching and mentoring skills.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across organisational levels.
- Stakeholder management skills.

- Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 depending on experience.
