The Senior Business Analyst will conduct Business Analysis-related project work, support the Lead BA with Portfolio management, coach, mentor, and quality assure BA’s work within the portfolio. Working with the Business areas within their domain to identify & define opportunities for improvement and deliver change successfully.

What you’ll be doing as a Senior Business Analyst

• Build strong relationships and communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders.
• Manage risks related to analysis deliverables and the overall requirements of projects or programmes.
• Have a customer-centred outlook, working closely with business areas and Business Analysts to identify opportunities, guide, challenge preconceptions, and drive collaboration.
• Support Project Leads and teams in prioritising and decision-making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, adopting agile principles and practices to enhance change delivery.
• Act as escalation point for Business Analysts and stakeholders on analysis activities, facilitating discussions for resolution and planning.
• Provide Quality Assurance for Business Analyst deliverables and services.
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Base location: Hybrid, 2 days a week in the office at Clear Water Court, with some travel to sites.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 36 hours.

What you should bring to the role

• BCS Diploma or Equivalent.
• Extensive experience in Digital Business Analysis projects.
• Portfolio management experience for project ideas.
• Experience managing teams of Business Analysts.
• Coaching and mentoring skills.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across organisational levels.
• Stakeholder management skills.
