OverviewBusiness Travel Consultant – Out of Hours is required for this Global TMC. Seeking an experienced Travel professional from a corporate Travel management company or business travel background with GDS skills in either Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus. This is a homebased role working a rotating OOH shift pattern to include evenings and weekends. Salary DOE but around £35/37k.ResponsibilitiesDealing with Out of hours calls, booking complex worldwide travel arrangements including flights, hotels, car hire, rail as a BTC using SabreChanging and amending trips, issuing and reissuing tickets, and problem solvingSkills / QualificationsBusiness Travel experience is essential as you will be dealing with out of hours and sometimes emergency enquiries.Strong knowledge of a GDS Sabre preferred but Galileo or Amadeus will be considered for an experienced BTCTicketing and reissuing experienceExceptional serviceAdditional InformationShifts are a 12 week rotating combination of the following:Splits shift: 06:00 and 18:00 starts for 3.5 or 4.5 hoursLate shift: 17:00 starts for 7 hoursWeekends: 07:00, 08:00 or 12:00, 13:00 starts for 10 hoursNo Through nightsWeekends & Bank holidays – 2 full weekends off every 12 weeks with an additional 4 single weekend days.
