Senior Civil Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior Civil Engineer you will lead design delivery across residential, commercial, and mixed‑use developments; manage client relationships; liaise with local authorities and contractors; produce detailed designs and technical reports using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage; ensure compliance with relevant Section Agreements (278, 38, 104, 185); and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver civil infrastructure design projects across multiple sectors.
• Manage client relationships and liaise with local authorities and contractors.
• Prepare detailed designs and technical reports using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and InfoDrainage (or similar).
• Ensure compliance with relevant Section Agreements (278, 38, 104, 185).
• Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians within the team.

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 6 years experience in a UK civil engineering design consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of drainage and highways design standards.
• Proven ability to manage projects from planning to construction stages.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design tools.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail.
