Overview

Senior Civil Engineer – Remote (with occasional office visits). My client is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing civil engineering design team. This role offers remote working with occasional office attendance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality design work across highways and drainage projects
• Produce detailed design drawings and models using Civil 3D and Causeway Flow
• Prepare designs for external works, levels, S104 drainage agreements, and S38/S278 highways agreements, as well as other relevant Section agreements
• Coordinate and liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and wider design teams
• Manage and track incoming and outgoing project documentation effectively
• Provide engineering support throughout all project stages, from concept through to delivery

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Have 8–10 years of experience in civil engineering design, ideally working on large scale and complex schemes
• Be confident producing highways and drainage designs to a high standard
• Have a proven track record of delivering designs for residential and non-residential schemes
• Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Be proficient in Civil 3D and Causeway Flow (essential)
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams
