HistoSonics is a medical device company, founded in 2009, that has developed a non-invasive, sonic beam therapy platform that uses histotripsy, which is capable of destroying targeted liver tumors. Our mission and passion are to advance the novel science of histotripsy and its powerful benefits, bringing meaningful and transformational change to physicians and their patients.
Location : Remote from the UK. Should be located within an hour of a major airport.
Travel: 75%. 3-4 nights/week in a hotel. There will be some European travel.
Position Summary
- The Sr. Clinical Education Specialist’s primary responsibility is to support the development and execution of high-quality training and education programs and services for HistoSonics' customers, partners and internal teams. The role is responsible to employ the most relevant analysis, design and implementation tools available to create and deliver world-class education programs.
- Work closely with the HistoSonics Education, Marketing, Sales and R&D teams to deliver world-class customer and employee training and education programs that enhance the value of the organization.
- At the direction of Education leadership, support Society & Professional Meeting activities as needed.
- Work closely with education partners to create and deliver impactful programs that maximize learning.
- Work with team to develop analytics and key performance indicators and adapt training as necessary.
- At the direction of Education leadership, support remote customer education and implementation activities as needed.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales and R&D leaders to develop stretch goals and objectives that support the education needs of our commercial organization and customers.
- Monitor market trends in training and education and adapt as needed to enhance the programs at HistoSonics.
- Collaborate with other functional departments to ensure the corporate objectives are achieved through effective communication, task execution and contingency planning.
- Serve as an informal leader within the education team, providing guidance and mentorship to teammates
- At the direction of Education leadership, participate in the development of education programs and curriculums
- Serve as a subject matter expert to education and cross functional teammates
- At the direction of Education leadership, partners cross functionally to develop and execute projects that advance Histosonics
- Proactive in identifying and executing on individual and team development opportunities

- Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws, including but not limited to HIPAA, Sunshine Act and the HistoSonics Guidelines on Interaction with US Healthcare Professionals.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- BA or BS preferred
- Experience (5+ years) experience in the health care/medical industry
- Preferred Experience (5+ years) implementing physician and sales education strategies and programs that have delivered proven results
- Preferred clinical and education experience with Ultrasound and advanced imaging technologies
- Must be willing and able to travel (by automobile or air, day trips and overnight stays) up to 75% of the time.
