Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Public Cloud Consultant to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive cloud expertise to guide clients through their digital transformation journeys, focusing on Public Cloud solutions. As a trusted advisor, you will blend technical design, pre-sales support, and consultative expertise to help clients optimize their cloud strategies and deployments, with a strong emphasis on DevOps methodologies for efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Cloud Architecture: Serve as the primary public cloud expert during client interactions, advising on cloud strategy, architecture, and migration initiatives. Collaborate with clients to assess their business needs and translate them into robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. Develop and deliver presentations that articulate the value and capabilities of our cloud offerings, ensuring alignment with current industry standards and client objectives.
  • Sales & Pre-Sales Support: Partner closely with sales and pre-sales teams to support technical discussions, create compelling proposals, and respond to RFPs with tailored public cloud solutions. Lead or contribute to client workshops and technical demos, translating customer requirements into actionable cloud service proposals.
  • Hands-On Cloud Deployment, Design & DevOps Integration: Engage in hands-on activities to validate cloud solution designs and support implementation, integrating DevOps best practices to streamline service delivery. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement automation, CI/CD, and other DevOps practices that enhance operational efficiency. Stay current with evolving public cloud technologies, DevOps tools, and industry trends (e.g., cloud security, automation) to ensure our offerings remain cutting-edge.
  • Collaboration & Team Support: Work as an integral part of our Professional Services team, collaborating closely with sales, operations, and technical experts. Share your expertise and insights with peers to help refine our cloud service strategies and ensure seamless project delivery.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud consulting or technical roles, with a strong track record in public cloud projects (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions, including cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and hybrid cloud environments.

Technical Expertise:

  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture, security, automation, and operational best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP), with certifications in these areas highly appreciated (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure, network design, and hybrid cloud strategies, with experience managing and optimizing hybrid environments.
  • Proven experience in integrating DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code) to enhance cloud service delivery.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native tools, containerization, and overall DevOps ecosystems is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization and governance strategies.

Sales & Presentation Skills:

  • Proven ability to support sales teams by delivering technical demos, participating in client workshops, and presenting complex concepts in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build strong client relationships.

Soft Skills & Methodologies:

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
  • Experience working within Agile environments and familiarity with relevant methodologies (e.g., ITIL) is advantageous.
