Job title: Senior Commercial Contracts Lawyer

PQE Level: 5+ PQE

Contract Type: 3-6 month contract

Working Hours: Full-time

A leading global business in the payments and payroll sector is seeking a highly experienced interim contracts lawyer to support its Head of Legal during a period of transition and growth. This is a 3-6 month contract with an immediate start, ideally starting in October.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience across EMEA jurisdictions and a strong track record in commercial contract negotiation—particularly in supporting sales teams to close complex deals. You\'ll be stepping into a fast-paced, collaborative environment where emotional intelligence and people skills are as critical as legal expertise.

This role requires a confident, solutions-focused lawyer who can build rapport quickly across teams, especially with sales and client-facing colleagues. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a business that values cultural fit and team cohesion.
