Salary - Between £65k - £80k + annual bonus & benefits
Location - Edinburgh - 18 month FTC / Secondment
Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to our Edinburgh office 2 days per week for this position.

A chance to thrive
- Create and distribute consolidated commercial performance against KPIs and strategic objectives for Tesco Bank and relative partners.
- Produce high quality customer and commercial performance updates to the Tesco Bank and Barclays executive leadership.
- Use data and insights to identify underperformance and continuously improve commercial outcomes, joining data points across the businesses.
- Identify growth opportunities, market strategies, and competitive propositions to sustainably grow Tesco Bank and compliment the Barclays 'multi-brand' strategy.
- Support oversight of the commercial planning process.
- Independently challenge commercial targets and ensure alignment across departments.
- Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on commercial matters.
- Collaborate across the business and multiple stakeholders to ensure business objectives are understood and suitable roadmaps to delivery are in place.
We need you to have
- Experience of banking products, preferably in unsecured lending and/or retail deposits.
- Experience working in a commercial or data team within retail banking.
- Competence in producing written communications for all levels of the business, particularly at an executive level.
- Ability to confidently articulate and manage commercial performance, reporting against the strategy.
- An inquisitive and proactive approach to identify and convey business performance opportunities and threats.
And if you have any of these, even better
- A relatively strong understanding of the UK retail banking landscape, key institutes, market trends and future threats and opportunities.
- Experience working in a strategy team and or in a strategy focused role.
- Experience of analysis and reporting software, for example Power BI, tableau etc.
