About the Team
We are a close‑knit team of 18 lawyers based in the UK, Germany, France, India and Bulgaria. We focus on collaboration, honesty and support, bringing business‑mindful lawyers who can provide pragmatic, actionable advice.
About the Role
Tide’s mission is to help members save time and money. As Senior Corporate Legal Counsel, you will lead a wide range of legal initiatives across corporate, finance and commercial areas, providing strategic advice in a cross‑jurisdictional context and working closely with senior business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Act as lead counsel on strategic corporate projects including M&A and fundraising.
- Lead debt financing transactions to fund international expansion.
- Support new market entry initiatives and coordinate new entity establishment.
- Assist with employee equity incentive schemes.
- Review and update global corporate structure and intercompany agreements.
- Provide general corporate advisory support on a wide range of matters.
- Support the People team on employment law matters.
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve company‑wide goals.
- Instruct, manage and coordinate external legal counsel across various jurisdictions.
Qualifications
You are an enthusiastic, detail‑oriented legal counsel with:
- 4+ PQE in corporate and/or finance law, ideally gained at a reputable UK law firm.
- A desire to work in a global fintech and to take on a strategic role.
- A hunger to learn and partner with stakeholders.
- A proactive approach in a challenging environment.
- Good working knowledge of UK company law, especially in equity fundraising, M&A, corporate governance, intra‑group transactions and entity establishment.
Additional experience is desirable if you have:
- Debt financing
- Employee equity incentives
- Employment law
You will be strategically and commercially aware, able to build strong relationships with senior executives and stakeholders across the business.

Working Environment
