Senior Cost Manager (Infrastructure Consultancy)

Join AECOM as a Senior Cost Manager supporting key infrastructure clients in the South West water and environment sectors. Work from Bristol, Cardiff, Plymouth or Exeter on large capital projects with clients such as Anglian Water, Environment Agency, Highways England, Network Rail and National Grid.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of cost management from project inception to completion, including feasibility estimates, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, value engineering, fee generation, risk management and post‑contract management.
• Provide accurate cost reporting and final account agreement to support project delivery.
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent AECOM’s professional quality services.
• Manage junior staff on technically complex projects and support business development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Chartered status with RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or equivalent.
• Significant experience in cost management on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Good working knowledge of NEC4 contracts (PSC, ECC) and integrated multi‑organisation teams.
• Strong client stakeholder influence and portfolio growth skills.
