As a Temporary Senior Data Protection Manager, you ll oversee compliance and safeguard data across this high-profile organisation. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a respected organisation dedicated to excellence.
Please note, this is a full-time temporary position based in the client's offices, paid on a weekly PAYE basis, and working 40 hours per week. This role will start quickly, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.
Senior Data Protection Manager Responsibilities
- Conducting privacy assessments and maintaining accountability trackers to ensure compliance with GDPR and related regulations.
- Completing data audits, managing supplier assessments, and supporting onboarding processes for new colleagues.
- Performing medium and high-risk privacy assessments, including risk analysis and remediation planning.
- Attending project meetings related to customer data to apply privacy by design principles.
- Auditing and maintaining records of processing activities, data processing documentation, and privacy notices.
- Managing rights request procedures, including complaints and enquiries, DSAR, and breach reporting.
- Supporting the wider team with privacy tools, risk management, supplier due diligence, and digital privacy assessments.

Data Protection Manager Experience Essentials
- Proven experience managing data protection compliance within a global business.
- Strong background in GDPR, PIPL, PECR, and privacy-related regulations.
- Certification: IAPP CIPP/E, CIPT and privacy technologist.
- Experience handling compliance related to marketing, advertising, and customer databases.
- Proven skills in managing DSARs, breaches, and privacy assessments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
