Join us as a Senior Delivery Manager – BR-MeX (Business Customer and Retailer Measure of Experience), where you’ll drive strategic initiatives that enhance performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency across our business.What you’ll be doing as a Senior Delivery Manager – BR-MeXAs a Senior Delivery Manager – BR-MeX, you’ll be responsible for identifying, coordinating, assuring, and delivering changes to business processes and technology. You’ll work across multiple business units and digital teams to ensure joined-up planning, governance, and delivery of initiatives that make it easier for our Business and Retailer customers.This is not an IT delivery or Scrum-focused role. While there may be occasional interaction with Agile teams (such as contributing to user stories), the core of this role is about planning and delivering business initiatives that improve processes, ways of working, and collaboration across teams. It’s primarily focused on driving change through people and process improvements, both within Thames Water and in partnership with external stakeholders.Your key responsibilities will include:
- Co-creating initiative pipelines with business leads and aligning delivery plans across teams.
- Managing project lifecycles, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Hands on delivery/pseudo project management of key initiatives.
- Tracking progress against milestones and benefits, and reporting outcomes.
- Leading in-depth analysis to identify high-impact opportunities for improvement.
- Providing assurance by holding delivery leads accountable for plan quality and benefit statements.
- Leading governance sessions and stakeholder communications to optimise decision-making.
- Proven success in change management within complex environments.
- Experience embedding sustainable, customer-focused change initiatives.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and governance experience.
- Experience of project and programme management.
- Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
- Financial acumen and ability to demonstrate the impact of initiatives.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Technical understanding of relevant technologies in the water industry.
- Competitive salary from £61,000 to £75,000 per annum
