Senior Designer (up to £55K, DOE)

Virgo Health – Senior Designer role in the Pharmacy+ creative studio located in London.

Who are we? We are a full-service creative studio situated within Virgo Health and Golin in London. Our talented team of designers, illustrators, art directors, motion designers, videographers, artworkers and presentation designers raise the creative bar for leading global brands and healthcare clients.

What is the role? Working in the design and content studio you will create assets for some of the world’s largest brands across the healthcare, tech and consumer segments. From branding for medical symposiums to storyboarding social animations, wire‑framing websites, and developing data visualisations, every day offers fresh challenges.

What will you be doing?

• Create excellent strategic big ideas that earn attention.
• Hone storytelling skills to bring ideas to life.
• Lead and direct projects from start to finish, ensuring all stakeholders are included.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest technology and trends in design and delivery, sharing knowledge with the team.
• Conceptualise ideation for campaigns and event theming.
• Produce day‑to‑day design and artworking, data visualisation, infographic design, illustration, animation, video editing, front‑end digital/web design, presentation design, and social assets (static and motion).
• Handle image retouching, stock image searches, icon drawing and other internal design tasks.
• Help the team prioritise workload and troubleshoot problems with a solutions‑focused mindset.
• Drive a positive, collaborative working environment.
• Line‑manage junior team members and review others’ work, providing clear direction for improvement.

What are we looking for?

• Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or related subject.
• Previous solid experience as a designer or senior designer in a fast‑paced studio environment.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe CS (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator) and PowerPoint.
• Experience in motion design and video production including Adobe Premiere & After Effects.
