The Role
As a Senior Power BI Developer at ECS, you will play a key role in delivering our data and analytics strategy. You will design, develop, and optimise advanced Power BI solutions that provide actionable insights and support informed decision‑making across the business. Your work will focus on creating scalable, secure, and high‑performing dashboards and reports, leveraging cloud technologies and best practices in data modelling.
You Will
Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to meet business needs.
Optimise and manage SQL queries, data integration, and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Collaborate with DevOps to automate BI deployments and integrate solutions with cloud platforms and external data sources.
Monitor and troubleshoot BI performance for scalability and reliability, while maintaining documentation and best practices.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics.
You Have
Proven experience in Power BI development (DAX, Power Query, data modelling) and strong SQL skills (optimisation, stored procedures).
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated deployments).
Knowledge of Azure services, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with stakeholder management experience.
Relevant degree (Computer Science, Data Analytics) and desirable Microsoft certifications (Power BI, Azure).
