The combined company provides an end-to-end SaaS solution suite for scheduling, time & attendance, applicant tracking, training, inventory management / procurement, HR / benefits and payroll services to customers worldwide.


Position Overview


Fourth is looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join the team in London to play a key technical role in our HRUK team. You’ll contribute to the full lifecycle of software delivery using Agile/Scrum methodology. This is a hybrid position with 1 day a week in our London office.


Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Design, develop, and implement complex software features and applications with minimal supervision.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

  • Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.

  • Mentor and support junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.

  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement across the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance.


Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience with SQL skills (MSSQL, Stored procedures)

  • 5+ years of experience with C#, .NET Framework 8.x and above, .NET Core

  • Active experience with legacy code (VB6 & Classic ASP)

  • Unit testing and TDD

  • Blazor (nice to have)

  • Octopus Deploy (nice to have)

  • Experience with Azure / Kubernetes and Terraform (nice to have)
