Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote - Europe

We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in Europe. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to drive the reliability, scalability, and security of a fast-growing SaaS platform.

In this role, you will lead infrastructure design, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and ensure seamless deployment and monitoring across complex environments. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to reduce toil, automate processes, and implement best practices in cloud infrastructure and container orchestration.

This is a fully remote role within Europe, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on platform stability, developer velocity, and overall customer experience.

Accountabilities:

  • Participate in infrastructure and architecture design decisions, including security, scalability, and observability
  • Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters and assist development teams with containerization
  • Lead initiatives to enhance CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software delivery
  • Build automation and tooling to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency
  • Resolve critical production issues and actively participate in incident management
  • Collaborate with teams to implement actionable monitoring, alerts, and runbooks

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
  • Expert-level proficiency in AWS; knowledge of best practices and large-scale deployments. GCP experience is a plus
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu; knowledge of modules and multi-environment setups
  • Strong Linux administration, networking, Bash scripting, and security skills
  • Professional experience with Kubernetes; familiarity with Helm and ArgoCD is a plus
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
  • Ability to read, understand, and debug production code and participate in on-call rotations
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as the DevOps landscape evolves
