Project DescriptionOur client, a global leader in access and smart home solutions, is investing in a Test Orchestration System to enable scalability and efficiency across their testing infrastructure. While most test cases are already automated, orchestration and visibility remain limited, with pipelines hardcoded and monitoring fragmented. The project's goal is to create a centralized CI/CD-driven orchestration pipeline, offering self-service execution, real-time status monitoring, and integrated reporting. This will allow development and QA teams to release firmware and product updates with greater confidence and speed.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and implement the CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for the Test Orchestration System. The role will focus on automation, scalability, and orchestration reliability to provide a robust foundation for automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated test orchestration (migrating away from legacy hardcoded jobs).
• Define and deploy infrastructure-as-code for test environments.
• Integrate test executors, firmware configurations, and results databases into a centralized orchestration pipeline.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and reporting mechanisms for test execution.
• Collaborate with web developers to provide API and backend integration for the self-service portal.
• Manage system reliability, troubleshooting, and incident response.
• Support Jira integration for automated ticket updates and traceability.

Skills

Must have

• 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong expertise with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Groovy, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with test automation tools (Appium, Selenium) is a plus.
• Experience integrating databases, monitoring, and reporting systems.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
