LOCALiQ, an award-winning digital agency within the Newsquest Media Group, is looking for a talented and driven Senior Marketing Executive to join our remote-first team. This role is ideal for a digital marketer who thrives on crafting content that performs across organic search, AI-driven results, and multi-channel campaigns. You’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing LOCALiQ’s visibility in search engines, including Google’s AI Overviews, while supporting lead generation and brand awareness through strategic content and campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities
Create and repurpose engaging, customer-focused content across blogs, guides, social media, and email campaigns
Optimise content for SEO, GEO targeting, and AI search visibility, including Google’s AI Overviews and generative search results
Apply E-E-A-T principles, strategic keyword placement, and structured formatting to improve organic rankings
Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to inform content and SEO strategy
Monitor SEO performance using SEMrush and refine tactics based on insights
Improve website copy and landing pages to enhance organic visibility and user experience
Upload and maintain case studies and client testimonials on the LOCALiQ website
Edit and update WordPress content, ensuring alignment with brand and SEO standards
Build and send email campaigns, nurture journeys, and newsletters via HubSpot
Track email campaign performance, engagement, and ROI to inform future activity
Schedule and manage weekly organic social posts across B2B channels
Support paid ad campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms
Analyse campaign data to optimise performance and lead generation
Respond to online reviews professionally and promptly to maintain brand reputation
Action inbound SEO audit and Website Grader requests, ensuring leads are followed up and logged
Liaise with sales to ensure smooth handover and tracking of inbound enquiries
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistency and adherence to brand standards across all materials and communication.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Proven experience in digital marketing, ideally within a B2B environment
Strong copywriting skills with a focus on SEO and AI search optimisation
Solid understanding of on-page and off-page SEO, including GEO targeting
Experience using SEMrush, HubSpot, and WordPress
Familiarity with E-E-A-T principles and structured content formatting
Ability to manage online reputation and respond to customer reviews
Competence in graphic design and video editing (Adobe Suite preferred)
Skilled in social media management and email marketing
Analytical mindset with experience interpreting campaign data and performance metrics
Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and stakeholder communication
