Location: London 3 days (Hybrid)
Contract Type: Day-rate Contract

Role Overview: We’re looking for a seasoned Digital Product Manager with deep experience in London Market Insurance to lead the delivery of digital solutions across underwriting operations and exposure management. This role sits within the Digital Product Management team and is focused on translating business strategy into actionable, incremental technology roadmaps that deliver measurable value.
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and senior product leaders to shape and execute digital initiatives using both in-house and third-party platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage product roadmaps across London Market domains, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
Collaborate with Strategic Operations Managers and Business Solutions Leads to provide visibility into the IT pipeline and support prioritisation decisions.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable features, user stories, and release plans for engineering teams.
Partner with stakeholders across Underwriting Operations, Exposure Management, and other functions to ensure delivery of high-value digital increments.
Lead agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
Drive continuous improvement across digital products, ensuring usability, performance, and business impact.
Support the delivery of enterprise BI and application enhancements, ensuring alignment with operational and financial goals.
Skills & Experience:
London Market Insurance expertise – minimum 3 years, with strong knowledge of underwriting processes and technologies.
Proven experience managing product backlogs and roadmaps in agile environments.
Skilled in writing user stories and defining digital experiences.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across business and IT.
Comfortable navigating complex organisations and offshore teams.
Strategic thinker with hands‑on delivery capability.
Familiarity with usability and UX best practices.
Awareness of emerging AI capabilities and their application in insurance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in Business Analysis or Product Management within the London Market.
Technical certifications advantageous.
